The Bellows Falls Opera House is owned and operated by the citizens of Rockingham, Vermont. Our auditorium is part of the Rockingham Town Hall, built in 1926 and serves as both an entertainment venue and as the primary civic meeting space in town. We work hard to keep the Opera House an affordable, family-friendly place to see a movie, a play, or a concert, but the reality is that operating and maintaining a century-old 553-seat theater in the age of television streaming services and multiplexes – let alone planning for the future – requires monies beyond what we can bring in from ticket sales, rentals and concessions. If you agree that we need the BFOH to remain strong, vital and affordable, growing as our town and region grow, we ask you to join us.
Annual Memberships are tax-deductible contributions (less goods and services received) that help keep the Opera House running and ensure that we can build toward the future. Choose the annual membership level that best fits your budget – and thank you!

Annual Sustaining Gift is a once-yearly, recurring, tax deductible, contribution that helps keep the Opera House moving forward and running smoothly. Blue Level Members receive a $20 credit to their Opera House account, Blue Level Members receive a $50 credit, & Black Level Members receive a $100 credit to be spent on tickets for events or refreshments sold online as you choose.
Sustaining Friends are monthly, recurring, tax-deductible contributions available at a variety of levels, with all funds raised going towards sustaining the Opera House as a vital part of the Bellows Falls community.
Your membership dollars keep the Bellows Falls Opera House strong, vital and growing as our town and region grows! A Green-level membership shows you care about the Bellows Falls Opera House – and we appreciate you!
The Green membership level at $250.00: a $200.00 tax-deductible donation, plus a $50.00 rebate in your Opera House account – good for movie or concession purchases on line, or toward any Special Event on our calendar for which we do the ticketing.
Tickets and concessions must be purchased on line in order to access your rebate. $200.00 of your $250.00 membership is a fully tax-deductible contribution, for which no goods or services were provided. Special members-only discounts will be introduced in 2026 for certain events – be on the lookout!
Black-level membership demonstrates your understanding of the role that the arts play in making our town a place in which folks want to work and live!
The Black membership level at $500.00: a $400.00 tax-deductible donation to keep the Opera House healthy, plus it puts a $100.00 rebate in your personal Opera House account – good for movie or concession purchases on line, or toward any Special Event on our calendar for which we do the ticketing.
