The Bellows Falls Opera House is owned and operated by the citizens of Rockingham, Vermont. Our auditorium is part of the Rockingham Town Hall, built in 1926 and serves as both an entertainment venue and as the primary civic meeting space in town. We work hard to keep the Opera House an affordable, family-friendly place to see a movie, a play, or a concert, but the reality is that operating and maintaining a century-old 553-seat theater in the age of television streaming services and multiplexes – let alone planning for the future – requires monies beyond what we can bring in from ticket sales, rentals and concessions. If you agree that we need the BFOH to remain strong, vital and affordable, growing as our town and region grow, we ask you to join us.
All are welcome to be part of the Friends of the Bellows Falls Opera House community. Just by adding your name to our mailing list, what we call the White Level, you’ll receive a dollar off Super-Up combos (large popcorn, large soda, candy) when ordering on-line, informational newsletters, and expedited checkout for online purchases.
Sustaining Friendships are monthly, recurring, tax-deductible contributions available at a variety of levels to fit your budget, with equal benefits to all. These include White Level benefits, plus sustaining members and a guest are invited to an annual Friends of the Opera House party, a special Friends movie screening, and receive a pair of complimentary tickets to a Classic Film Wednesday of their choice.
Annual Sustaining Gift is a once-yearly, recurring, tax deductible, contribution that helps keep the Opera House moving forward and running smoothly.
